Inderjit and I worked together, where he worked as the finance partner to the information technology organisation. We worked in close partnership on the financial management of a wide ranging and complex change plan, putting in place key, sustainable controls and planning strategies. Throughout my tenure at Centrica, it was a pleasure to work with Inderjit, His ability to manage across intense and highly complex environments proved invaluable. He has a personable and people orientated management style whilst delivering results.

I had the privilege of working with Emma on a significantly large and complex finance transformation programme. Emma was pivotal in shaping the programme and brought thought leadership and direction across multiple workstreams. Her experience, technical expertise and people skills were critical in delivering the desired outcomes to optimise finance processes through ERP transformation.

Emma was the Lead on a major strategic Business Transformation Programme, which involved integrating finance and operational systems during which I was the IT Director of Development & Operations.

Emma excelled in her Programme Finance Lead role by bridging the gap between the programme, technology and operational business teams. Effectively translating business requirements into practical solutions from design through to execution.

Emma built a strong rapport as part of the Programme delivery leadership teams, becoming the go-to person for addressing emerging risks and issues, ensuring successful, high quality and timely system delivery that met with strategic objectives of the Programme.

When I first worked with Inderjit, he was making massive improvements to the corporate billing performance. He then went on to lead a division-wide business transformation programme covering all aspects of the business. 

Inderjit has a finance background and has successfully transitioned into operational roles. He is intelligent, experienced and knows the detail of the processes that underpin a retail energy business. He's always hugely committed to the success of the business he works in and is very loyal to those he works with.

I worked alongside Inderjit, who was a key member of the leadership team on a complex transformation programme. Tough deliverables and stakeholders with conflicting objectives did not faze him as he always focused on delivery of the business benefits. Emma was an essential part of my Senior Management Team. She consistently demonstrated strong leadership capabilities, critical thinking and provided valuable input and a willingness to share knowledge.

During this period Emma had been integral in providing analysis and insight to drive the business margin growth and reduce working capital with a real focus on mitigating risk and seeking opportunities.

During my time as Group Finance Transformation Director, Emma collaborated closely with my Global Process Owners (GPOs), ensuring streamlined processes, efficient workflows, and a smooth transition of responsibilities to the new outsourcing partner.  She also took charge of leading consultations within her division. 

Emma is proactive and dependable, with comprehensive end-to-end finance expertise across all areas and is a strong technical accountant. Her exceptional stakeholder management and employee engagement skills were evident in her leading the finance restructure.
